Book Report News: I have been informed that there have been issues printing the book reports. If you have been unable to print the book reports your child may write the answers on a lined sheet of paper or you can copy and paste the questions on a word document.

Reading: In our first Unit we will explore Traditional Literature. We are reading fairytales, legends, myths and folktales! Students are learning that a good reader asks questions while they read.
Math: Chapter 1: Students will learn about place value. Practice Addition and Subtraction Facts!
Spelling: We have a Spelling test each Friday from words found in our weekly story. Each Monday, we will have a pretest and students must write incorrect words three times each. In addition, each Friday a Free Choice Spelling activity is due.The following is a fun website students can use to practice the words: http://www.kidsspell.com/ This week students are learning about words with the vcccv pattern.
