Welcome to the School Advisory Council home page!
The mission of the School Advisory Council (SAC) is to advise the Principal and Pastor on matters dealing with providing a superior quality Catholic education to the children of Queen of Heaven Parish School, and to support the greater Catholic family and the community in general. The School Advisory Council shares in the responsibility of proclaiming in word and deed the message revealed by God of building a community of faith and giving service to God and on another.

SAC committee information will be updated within the next month. Past SAC Committees, along with brief descriptions, are as follows:
Budget:
Consults with the School Principal, the Pastor, and the Parish Financial Assistant to set and approve the school budget annually.
Develops and implements fundraising activities for our sister school in
Endowment:
Develops and implements endowment fundraising activities throughout the school year, holds a Planned Giving/Estate Planning meeting each semester for parents and parish members in order to explain the endowment and how to donate to it
Financial aid:
Distributes financial assistance packets at registration, reviews all applications, and approves financial assistance for school families prior to the start of each school year, and as needs arise throughout the year.
Marketing:
Develops and implements a public relations plan to promote our school and “recruit” new families to the school.
Volunteer:
Monitors school-wide volunteer activities and events, attends Room Parent and Event Planning Meetings and reports back to the SAC.
